#RachelWhitereadInspired
As one of four artists featured on Tate’s Instagram under #RachelWhitereadInspired, I was asked to create a drawing series inspired by the works of Rachel Whiteread exhibited at Tate Modern. The drawings were completed in a linear manner, where each drawing in the series of eleven was a result of ideas and techniques established in its predecessor. Throughout the entire series, I explored the idea of memory, as well as the architectural and spatial aspects featured quite prominently in Whiteread’s work.
