Five Lines, Deconstructed
Inspired by ArchDaily’s Five-Line Sketching Competition, I decided to begin my own series of drawings with the same restrictions; five lines of any thickness, open to interpretation, with a background of choice, on a 10cmx10cm board. I was interested in blurring the boundaries between figure and line, and realized that the harder it was to find five lines, the more successful I found it to be.
